[THOUSAND OAKS, CA] - 2010-11-29: SOFTPRO today announced that its SignDoc software is in deployment with Noritsu Technical Services (NTS) for the automation of contract sign-off between NTS field engineers and clients. This initiative saves time, reduces cost and carbon footprint.
NTS is a worldwide equipment services organization that has earned a reputation of excellence over the past 30 years. Recently the company undertook an initiative to automate the service sign-off process which had included field engineers carrying portable printers along with their laptops to print required documents for customer sign-offs.
After a thorough investigation, the company chose to implement SOFTPRO’s SignDoc software which enables clients to electronically sign PDF documents that are displayed on the PC screen. Once the signature is captured, the document is cryptographically sealed and unalterable without detection. A SignPad Compact (Wacom STU-300) is an integrated part of the solution which captures the handwritten electronic signature.
"SOFTPRO did an excellent job to understand our needs and recommend a solution, that quite frankly, far exceeded our expectations," said Mark Chappell, Technical Integration Specialist. "We were very pleased with how easy it was to integrate electronic signing with SOFTPRO into our workflow. Overall, their leadership, professionalism, and service sold us."
"With the implementation of completely electronic transactions, Noritsu Technical Services has elevated their business processes to compliment their high level of technical service. We are pleased to be associated with their business," added Rodney G. Vesling, President E-Signature Solutions.
About SignDoc
SignDoc installs in minutes and immediately enables clients to sign PDF documents with legally binding electronic signatures. Because SignDoc produces an Adobe compliant digital signature, all you need to validate the integrity of the document and the signature in the future is the de facto standard Adobe Reader. Further, SignDoc provides unparalleled flexibility to sign any document format using SignDoc's built-in PDF converter to transform the document to PDF and sign without requiring additional software or plug-ins.
For clients who are seeking a server signing solution or have custom integration requirements, SignDoc Web and SDKs are available to support these needs. The company also provides professional services as requested.

SignPad Compact (Wacom STU-300) - a small, robust but light tablet with LC display. The SignPad Compact is based on the same sensor technology like the very successful SignPad eSignio (Wacom STU-500). The SignPad Compact is ideal for the mobile sales team (e.g. of insurances) and service technicians. Paperless signing of contracts or service receipts in a mobile environment has never been more convincing. It is the preferred choice of insurance agents working in the ?eld and service staff carrying out repair and maintenance tasks on site.
