Softpro’s E-Signature Solutions Business Expands

SignDoc Software Enables Secure Signing and Elimination of Paper Forms

[WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA] - 2010-10-12: Softpro today announces its expansion of its E-signature Solutions business. Fueled by recent sales and continued growth in new prospects, the company is investing in sales, marketing, technical support, and new products to better serve its customers.

Softpro’s E-signature Solutions provides organizations with electronic signature software and tools called SignDoc to enable the migration from paper based processes requiring ink and paper signatures to completely electronic processes anchored with electronic signatures. SignDoc software provides clients with a powerful, yet easy to deploy platform for E-Signature enabling its applications. The platform is powerful given its ability to address multiple electronic signature formats (ie. handwritten and click to sign) that are secure and legally binding. Despite the breadth of capability, clients can deploy SignDoc in only minutes or hours depending on the implementation approach.

“Six months ago we hired an industry leader in Rod Vesling as President of our North American E-signature Solutions business and he has stepped right in and led the launch of this business,” said Heinz Reschke, CEO, Softpro GmbH. “Rod knows the needs of the market and saw an opportunity to leverage our core capabilities, expertise, and excellent customer base to build this business. We are making excellent progress.”

For over 25 years, Softpro has been providing solutions relating to handwritten signatures. For the most part, the focus was solely on building a leading fraud detection and prevention business (FraudOne and SignPlus brands) that today is utilized by many of the top financial institutions around the globe. In fact, Softpro solutions process in excess of 25 million signature transactions daily. Much of the underlying technology is leveraged in SignDoc software.

“SignDoc and its roadmap are perfect for what our customers are looking for. It provides secure e-signing technology for our software partners and enterprise clients that’s easy to integrate. From my perspective, we have what the market wants but few know about it. That’s our challenge and where our focus is right now,” shared Rod Vesling. “We’re building our team, enhancing our marketing, and developing solutions that I’m confident will increase our visibility within the markets we serve as well as provide a solid economic return.”

Softpro is exhibiting at BAI Retail Delivery at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas, NV on October 19-21 in booth 205.
