One of the largest European Telecommunication Providers chooses Softpro's SignPad and SignDoc

[PARIS/BÖBLINGEN] - 2009-04-15: Following the example of Sunrise, Switzerlands second largest telecommunication provider, one of the largest telecommunication companies in Europe is starting to sign paperless at their point of sales as well. Like in Switzerland the solution which is already in production at several flagship stores is supplied by Wacom and Softpro. Signatures of customers and retailers are now digitized throughout the writing process on a signature tablet and securely embedded into electronic documents.

The telecommunication provider which is based in France has also chosen the SignPad eSignio as preferred input device and SignDoc as the solution for trustworthy electronic documents. Signed documents are transferred straight into the electronic archive. Optionally the signature can be verified. Through this process, paper is gradually being phased out from Sunrise's document workflow. The introduction of electronic signing was warmly welcomed by sales staff as well as by the customers.

Additional details about the application will become available in a case study which is currently under preparation.
