SignDoc for Adobe Reader

Plug-in for Adobe^® Reader that allows signing of documents in Adobe^® Reader with handwritten signatures. Documents have to be enabled with digital signature fields compatible with Adobe^®’s LiveCycle™ technology. Signatures in documents can be verified against reference signatures previously stored in files, in SignArchive and on smartcards.

Requirements

Signature Capturing: SOFTPRO recommends to use the SignPad eSignio for trustworthy capturing of signature data. Alternatively SignDoc^® also supports to capture signatures with selected writing tablets and Tablet PCs .
Operating System: Microsoft^® Windows^® 2000 or newer
Application Software: Adobe^® Reader 7.0.9 or newer (including Reader 8)

Please note the following restrictions when using a demo license:
- Test Period: A prolongation of the limited test period is not possible.
- Activation: If you are downloading the software but do not install and use the software the download package might be out of date. To ensure an up-to-date installation the packages include a time limited activation date. The preset date may be seen in the "license viewer".
- Verification: The number of signatures that can be compared per minute is limited to a performance level below the full version.

Functionality in Adobe Reader without SignDoc plugin: If you have decided not to purchase a full license for SignDoc you may see handwritten signatures in documents produced with SignDoc and verify their integrity.
