The SignDoc Standard Client allows you to convert Microsoft Word files (and files of any other file type) to PDF or TIFF with the embedded "SOFTPRO PDF & TIFF Converter".
Especially PDF files are considered the better choice for archiving and exchange purposes without any hassle of file formats. Files in the format of Microsoft Word 2007 (.docx) be known to be a hurdle in exchange with others as the format is still not as common as Microsoft wants it to be. Usage of the converter is easy and straightforward: Just print your documents to "SOFTPRO PDF & TIFF Converter", which will start the conversion and also come up with SignDoc for browsing and signing.
SignDoc for Microsoft Word is an add-in for Microsoft® Word.
Word documents can be signed and sealed with a handwritten signature. Signatures in documents can be verified against reference signatures previously stored in files or in SignArchive.

- Test Period: A prolongation of the limited test period is not possible.
- Activation: If you are downloading the software but do not install and use the software the download package might be out of date. To ensure an up-to-date installation the packages include a time limited activation date. The preset date may be seen in the "license viewer".
- Verification: The number of signatures that can be compared per minute is limited to a performance level below the full version.
After the test period the free SignDoc Reader is still active: If you have decided not to purchase a full license for SignDoc, you may continue - for free - to use the “Reader” functionalities, e.g. you may see handwritten signatures in documents produced with SignDoc and verify their integrity.
