e-Signing using SignPad and SignWare at POS in Retail

E-Signing as part of the electronic receipt storage system

TeleCash has expanded the terminal infrastructure in adding the SignPad eSignio into the check-out procedure. Additionally SOFTPRO‘s Software Development Kit SignWare has been integrated in the electronic receipt storage system

• The customer can see the full retailer receipt on the display of the SignPad eSignio as part of the check-out process at the POS. Thus the relation of the signature and the receipt are easy to link unambiguously for the signer..
• The customer signs on the SignPad. His signature is digitized immediately throughout the writing process.
• The cashier checks the signature on screen and finalizes the payment transaction.
• SOFTPRO caters with her software components for the authenticity and integrity of the electronic receipts. The captured data are linked with the signed document content.
• Based on the individual biometric signing characteristics of an “electronic signature” is created.
