[BEAR] - 2010-04-27: Softpro North America, the world's leading vendor of systems for capture and verification of handwritten signatures and fraud prevention solutions, today announced the appointment of Rod Vesling as President for E-Signing Solutions. In his former role Rod was the Senior Vice President and Officer for the Interlink Electronics eTransactions business unit. Rod was with Interlink for almost ten years and has gained the reputation of being one of the world’s most knowledgeable experts for electronic signatures. As new President of E-signing Solutions of Softpro North America Rod Vesling will take care of business development, partner management, marketing, public relation and sales.

In his former career Rod also served as Vice President of OEM Sales and Strategic Initiatives for Plasmon (formally LMS, a division of Philips Electronics) and was also employed by the Eastman Kodak Company, where he held several senior positions, including positions in sales and marketing and business development. Rod earned his Masters in Business Administration from the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business, University of Rochester, New York. He has an Economics degree from St. Lawrence University, Canton, New York.
Softpro founded its US-subsidiary in 1999. The US market is regarded as one the most promising one for the future expansion of Softpro.
